Glass frog (Cochranella albomaculata) perched on a leaf overhanging a stream at Campanario, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. Here it is lit from below with a flashlight. The transparency of glass frogs gives them their name, and in this shot you can see the green color of the leg bones, one of the traits used to identify this species. It is a bit unusual to find bone color listed in taxonomic keys!
